Black Panther is the Marvel Studios film and the 18th film in the MCU as it is directed by Ryan Coogler and released in 2018. This is an important film for cultural reasons and was one that made $1 billion in the box office. I honestly loved it.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman (RIP King) once again nailed it as T'Challa. It was great to see more of his character since Civil War. He had this leadership badass king presence and adds humanity to this character. Boseman was perfect in the role and it's just sad that we won't get more of him. Michael B. Jordan plays Killmonger and he did amazing and became one of the best villains in the MCU, top 3 villains. Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong'o, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis, and Martin Freeman all did great in their roles as they were such fantastic characters. My favorite character in the film had to be M'Baku as Winston Duke stole the show when he was onscreen.

The film is about T'Challa becoming king of Wakanda after his father's death but must deal with Killmonger who wants the throne. The film is well driven as it had heart and emotion. It was beautifully made. I loved how the film explores the culture and makes one care for this place and these characters. The action scenes were fantastic as it shows Black Panther is not one to mess around with. The film also has a great score by Ludwig Göransson who currently the best composer in the business. The film also has amazing cinematography.

A few flaws the film had was that I wish they did not kill off certain characters as I felt some of them were wasted like that. Some of the special effects could have been better too.

Overall, this is such an important film for many reasons and it was done beautifully. It's great to see little kids looking up to Black Panther as a hero like how I did when I was younger going to watch the first Spider-Man film. Also congratulations to the studio and the cast and crew on winning 3 Oscars! RIP Chadwick, the Black Panther franchise won't be the same without him.
