Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the 28th film in the MCU that is directed by Sam Raimi. Unfortunately, this seems to be mixed because it does something different and theories don't come true? Must be good then, and it's good!

The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange returns and as always gives a stellar performance as he is dealing with consequences from Infinity War and No away Home. Elizabeth Olsen also returns as Scarlet Witch and she's a force to be reckoned with in this film. She definitely proves she's powerful and Olsen dives a phenomenal performance. The film also stars Benedict Wong as Wong who is always great, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez who is new in the MCU and nails it in her debut, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer who has more to do in this film than the first one.

The film is about Wanda going after America Chavez for her power so Doctor Strange must protect her. What I loved about the film is how it's Sam Raimi unleashed from the horror vibes, the corniness, to the action that works perfectly for a Doctor Strange film. It is not afraid to take chances, especially in the Illuminati scene. The magic, sorcery, and witch stuff explored were great throughout the film, especially in the music scene. It was interesting exploring the multiverse and seeing different realities as it made the viewer wonder how certain events in the MCU would have turned out. Some of the best parts were the score, cinematography, and special effects.

However, there are some flaws. I felt it could have been a bit longer and I felt it could have shown more of the multiverse too. But this isn't really a flaw, I noticed some people had huge expectations on cameos that were falsely spread around and got their hopes up for it which caused them to be let down by it, and if that's the case then that's their own fault for believing stuff that wasn't going to be in the film in the first place.

Overall I thought this was a great sequel and better than the first. Sam Raimi has done it again and made a great superhero film. I hope he returns for the third one.
