Loki is the latest MCU Disney+ series as Kate Herron directed all 6 episodes for this season. With what happened in Avengers Infinity War, the series raised many questions on what can happen, but it does things differently than expected. It was a shocking series to what as it changed the MCU forever.
Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki and once again is phenomenal in the role as it is pure chaotic. It is great to see Loki having time to shine as he has always been a supporting character in the Thor films. The series also stars Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravenna Renslayer, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15 and amazing appearances from Richard E. Grant as Classic Loki, a returning Jaimie Alexander as Sif, and amazingly introducing Jonathan Majors as Kang or He Who Remains into the MCU. Each one of the characters was amazing alongside Hiddleston as they had great chemistry, especially Loki with Mobius and Sylvie. But the one who stole the show alongside Loki was Sylvie as she is a variant of Loki, but at the same time is completely different. Di Martino and Hiddleston were just amazing together, weird, but amazing.
The series is about Loki after stealing the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame is brought to the Time Variance Authority, an organization that monitors the timeline, and must help them find the variant of himself who is disrupting the timeline. What is interesting is that this is a different Loki as he didn't go through the events of The Dark World or Ragnarok. What I love about the series is how chaotic it is. Loki is a chaotic character and then exploring it with all the Loki's that appear just worked amazingly. Especially in episode 5 with all the Loki's. What also was great was how it explores and explains alternate timelines and how they work. It also teases the future of the MCU that does so in a shocking yet terrifying way.
With this series, I don't have any flaws as it was amazing from start to finish.
Overall I was really surprised with this series as I wasn't expecting it to be as amazing as it was. The MCU is changed forever and I'm ready to see what happens next in it and in Season 2 of Loki.
