Thor: Ragnarok is the Marvel Studios film and the 17th film in the MCU as it is directed by Taika Waititi and released in 2017. After the first two films weren't the best, this one was a huge improvement as they changed and fixed the Thor character.
Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor and once again does great as the character is changed to be more hilarious as he is still mighty. Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki who once again is great as we watch him develop more throughout the film. Mark Ruffalo returns as The Hulk and it was great seeing what happened to him since Age of Ultron as Hulk is now different as he acts like a 3-year-old child. The film also stars Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Cate Blanchett as the antagonist Hela who were all great as they had their moments to shine and be hilarious. But the two who stole the show were Korg and Miek.
The film is about Thor must try to prevent Ragnarok from happening as Hela takes over Asgard and as he tries to escape from the alien planet Salazar where he runs into a friend of work. Of course, the film is hilarious which works perfectly. It's impressive that apparently, 80% of the film was improvised. The film is colorful too and has a great score and great cinematography too. It also had great action scenes too as we see Thor continue to be mighty.
A few flaws there are is that feel like they could have given characters better deaths and not kill them off like they were chumps. Also, there are characters that get killed off that could have had or even had a lot of potentials. Pretty much them wasting characters is the main flaw with this film.
Overall this is the best Thor film. It's hilarious and unlike the first two. They changed Thor for the better as fans and even Chris Hemsworth was getting bored of him. It's a hilarious film and I can't wait for Thor: Love and Thunder.
